Synovial Biopsies
Welcome to our department
The aim of this site is to give fellows visiting our unit an opportunity to see a ultrasound guided synovial biopsy before arriving. There are a number of videos available showing both small and large joint synovial biopsies
We currently preform knee, MCP, PIP, wrist, elbow and MTP synovial biopsies under ultrasound guidance. Whilst visiting our department we hope you will have an opportunity to see an number of procedures and learn the basic skills required to perform this intervention.
